The total cost up until the fifth chemotherapy cycle has been about BDT 1 crore
( approximately 138889 USD). The contributions are as follows:
The city bank ltd. BDT 14.5 lakhs (USD 20139)
Corporate and Investment (the city bank ltd.) BDT 8 lakhs ( USD 11112)
Donations BDT 11.5 lakhs (USD 15973)
Family BDT 66 lakhs (USD 91667)
The actual costs have been in BDT so the USD amounts used here are only approximate values (conversions 72 taka=1 USD). We will be needing BDT 50 lakhs more (USD 69445).

Update
Mortoja's fifth chemotherapy cycle has ended successfully. The lumber puncture, follow up etc. will take about 21 days. The sixth cycle is scheduled to start around 13th August 2010 if his body responds accordingly.
