A luminous dawn of tranquil surprises,
The casting of the new ball of fire
She caught orange butterflies in mid-air
And learnt new to flutter and soar high as them.
She had just risen, just caught her first glimpse,
A glimpse of the hue blanketed world.
In the afternoon, she gazed at the sun,
And she wanted to grow big and touch it.
The sterling silver stars bathed in the pink sky waters
And the twilight and before the night.
At night she pointed at the ball of silver radiance
And slept peacefully under the moon’s hollow warmth.
Dawns passed, sunsets slided and the nights skipped away.
The little girl grew up and forgot to marvel at the world.
Now she had to pose for the world.
